Program Overview

The Bachelor of Outdoor Leadership at Victoria University equips students with practical skills and knowledge for careers in outdoor education and recreation. Through internships, outdoor activities, and specialized coursework, students develop leadership, planning, and risk management abilities, as well as an understanding of the natural environment and outdoor recreation activities. The program's unique teaching methods, including the VU Block Model and outdoor labs, provide hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the subject matter. Graduates are prepared for a range of careers, including outdoor educators, adventure guides, park rangers, and environmental educators.
