Program Overview

This Diploma of Information Technology program provides a comprehensive foundation in web development, programming, networking, database systems, and project management. Students will gain practical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and Linux server management, preparing them for entry-level roles in computer and network support, website development, and database support. With further education, graduates can advance to higher-level IT positions.

Students will learn how to write simple programs in Python.
• Communication and Information Management (VIT1103, 12 credits): This module covers the principles of effective communication and information management in an IT environment.
Students will learn how to write technical reports, use presentation software, and manage data effectively.
• Computer Networks (VIT1104, 12 credits): This module introduces students to the fundamentals of computer networks, including network protocols, network topologies, and network security.
