This introductory Excel workshop is designed for professionals seeking to enhance their data management and calculation skills. Over a 4-hour online session, participants will gain a foundational understanding of Excel, enabling them to create basic spreadsheets, perform simple calculations using formulas, and organize data effectively. The workshop aims to empower participants to improve their workplace performance or pursue career advancement opportunities.
Program Outline
Teaching:
This introductory Excel course is suited to professionals from a variety of workplaces and organisations. You'll learn better manage your role responsibilities, or aim for a promotion with time-saving tips to organise data or calculate costs. Delivered over half a day, this 4-hour online workshop is led by an expert facilitator. It will give you a foundational overview of Excel that you can immediately apply in your workplace. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to plan and create basic spreadsheets, using formulas to perform simple calculations and organise data.
Careers:
This workshop will provide participants with a foundational understanding of Microsoft Excel introductory/beginner level. It is anticipated that the participants will be existing workers with a range of experiences in diverse workplace contexts to better manage their current role responsibilities or to expand their skill set to access employment or promotion.

Participants will need access to a computer with an operational version of Microsoft Excel installed on their computer. The program requires participants to have basic level of computer skills to access and operate the online learning software to navigate a webpage and find information, attend a webinar using zoom or webex for online delivery. If the course is being delivered face-to-face onsite, computer access is not required.
