  • ADMN 6360 Management Concepts and Issues
  • ADMN 6375 Strategic Planning and Policy
  • ORGD 6320 Organizational Behavior and Learning
  • ORGD 6355 Organizational Change
  • PMBA 6309 Applied Human Resource Management

Concentrations (12 hours)

Students can select a concentration from the following disciplines, except Business (limited to 4 courses):

  • Applied Administration: Allows students to customize their degree based on career goals and interests, selecting courses from related disciplines.
  • Healthcare Administration: Prepares students for roles in hospital, group practice, health insurance, and other clinical and administrative settings, with a focus on health services management and expertise in areas such as finance, legal and ethical issues, quality improvement, and healthcare organization management.
  • Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Applies psychological principles and research methods to workplace settings, aiming to enhance productivity, well-being, and quality of life.
  • Graduates can secure positions as human resource specialists, management consultants, or in areas like quality management and organizational change. This concentration is aligned with the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) HR Curriculum Guidebook, enabling students to sit for the SHRM-CP exam upon completion.
