The Cloud Computing degree program prepares students for employment in various cloud computing fields such as Cloud Administration, Cloud Development, Security, Architecture, Cloud Data Management, DevOps, and Machine Learning. The material presented in the program imparts knowledge and skills to successfully deploy and manage cloud services and systems, including virtualized compute, storage, networking, database, security, and governance.
Objectives:
- Familiarize students with cloud computing concepts, economics, and design principles.
- Provide hands-on experience in provisioning and managing cloud resources using Azure portal, AWS console, and Azure and AWS command-line interfaces.
- Equip students with the ability to define and design for security and compliance.
- Enable students to design high-performing, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized architectures.
- Prepare students for industry certification exams, including Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Solutions Architect.
