Program Overview

The Early Childhood Education Professional Core Certificate of Proficiency program prepares individuals with non-early childhood education degrees to meet state requirements for child care licensing and teaching certifications. The program enhances teacher competence through coursework in early childhood development, curriculum, and assessment, and provides opportunities for practical experience in early learning settings.
