Program Overview
The Emergency Medical Technician Certificate of Competency program at Delaware County Community College prepares students for a career as an EMT. The program covers essential content areas, including emergency medical care, trauma management, and EMS operations. Students are assessed through cognitive and psychomotor examinations and must achieve a grade of "C" or better and a score of 70% or better to earn the certificate.
