- Overview: The General Studies program provides an associate in applied science degree that aligns with the Academic Learning Goals of the College and offers flexibility in course selection. It caters to students seeking to enhance their cultural background or gain insights into global issues. Previous certificate holders can apply those college credits. The program is not designed for direct transfer to another program but may facilitate transfer with careful course selection. Dual degrees exclude General Studies. Students can choose a focus area by dedicating 18 credits within the program. Co-Op/Internship Program participation is optional. Advisors and transfer counselors assist in determining suitable courses.
