Program Overview

Doane University's Master of Education in School Counseling program prepares certified teachers and college graduates to become highly competent school counselors. The program combines coursework, practicum, and internship experiences to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver effective school counseling services, collaborate with school personnel and community services, and address the needs of children and adolescents. Graduates are proficient in various counseling theories, methods, and interventions, and are prepared for the Nebraska School Counseling Endorsement.
