The program focuses on providing the necessary education, skills, and clinical experiences to prepare students for employment as entry-level paramedics.

Program Description:
The program is developed based on the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards: Paramedic Instructional Guidelines. A certificate is awarded to students who complete the program with a GPA of 2.0 or higher and a grade of "C" or better in all program courses.

The program consists of 40 credit hours, including 24 credits in the career specialty and six credits in general education. At least 50% of the credits must be earned at Delaware County Community College.
