Admission Requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Mature Student Status
  • Grade 12 English (C or U)
  • Grade 11 mathematics (C, M or U)

SEPTEMBER OR JANUARY START:

  • You may enter Year 1 of the Business or Business Administration program in September or January
  • If you begin business and marketing classes in January, you will complete semesters 1 and 2 from January to August and start Year 2 and Semester 3 immediately in September.

MAY START

This program is offered in a consecutive format (16 months) from May until the following August. If you begin business and marketing classes in May, you will complete semester 2 in September, semester 3 in January and semester 4 in May.

  • Students entering their first year of studies in any Faculty of Business and Information Technology program will receive a membership to all of Durham Region’s Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade for the duration of their studies, plus an additional year following graduation.

  1. Contribute to the development of a marketing plan that will meet the needs or goals of a business or organization.
  2. Contribute to the development of an integrated marketing communication plan of a product, concept, good, and/or service based on an identified market need or target.

  4. Contribute to the development of strategies for the efficient and effective placement/distribution of a product, good, and/or service to respond to an evolving market.
