Massage Therapy Program Overview
The Massage Therapy program at Durham College is designed to equip students with the comprehensive skills and knowledge needed to succeed as Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in Ontario. Clinical Placement
In the massage therapy program, students use the knowledge and skills they have developed to care for patients in the community. Students act as massage therapy student practitioners under the supervision of RMT placement instructors. Students will participate in both off-campus placements and on-campus clinics within the Durham College Spa.

- Conduct a massage therapy practice within a legal, professional and ethical framework.
- Apply business principles relevant to a massage therapy practice.

- Collect and assess clients’ information to determine their state of health and the treatment goals.
