Program Overview

Coastal Carolina University's Sport Coaching Minor prepares students to lead and manage athletic programs at various levels. The 21-credit curriculum combines theoretical and practical experiences, including coaching principles certification, CPR/first aid training, and a practicum. Graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge to pursue careers as youth sports coaches, high school coaches, college assistant coaches, and more.
