Program Overview

The Research Minor in Mathematics at Black Hills State University allows students to pursue research under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Students must have completed 17 semester hours of the Mathematics Major Required Core with a 3.0 GPA and obtain permission from their mentor. The program culminates in an oral presentation of the research results.
