Program Overview
The Speech Minor at BHSU offers three emphases: Mass Communication, Speech Communication, and Teaching. The Mass Communication emphasis focuses on media writing, digital media, and multimedia reporting. The Speech Communication emphasis emphasizes public speaking, argumentation, and communication theories. The Teaching emphasis prepares students for teaching language arts in grades 7-12.
