Program Overview

The Associate of Arts in Elementary Education provides a foundation in liberal education and elementary education prerequisites, preparing students for a seamless transition into a Bachelor's degree program in education. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for careers as daycare or preschool teachers, or for further study in elementary, middle grades, or special education. However, this associate's degree does not lead to initial teaching certification.
