• GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Official transcripts from all previously attended schools
• Completed application with Carolina University

They will have met all requirements to receive Elementary Licensure from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), a widely recognized credential for Christian educators.

While this degree track is not specifically designed for North Carolina state licensure, it provides a broad and versatile foundation, equipping graduates to teach at multiple educational levels—from early childhood to elementary to high school—in a variety of private, Christian, and alternative education settings. For students interested in obtaining North Carolina state licensure, our program offers a flexible pathway. Beginning with the BS in Education, students may opt for a dual-enrollment program with Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) starting in their junior year. Students who earn the degree from WSSU can be recommended for North Carolina State Licensure.
