Program Overview

The Physics Minor at Campbellsville University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of classical and modern physics, developing their problem-solving and laboratory skills. Through a combination of required courses, electives, and a supporting course in Calculus I, students gain a solid foundation in mechanics, thermodynamics, waves, optics, electricity and magnetism, special relativity, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, and particle physics. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in research and development, engineering, education, medicine, and finance.
