Pre-Law Minor

Program Overview

The Pre-Law Minor provides students with an interdisciplinary exploration of law, developing their understanding of legal concepts, reasoning, writing, and argumentation skills. Through coursework in American political philosophy, business law, and criminal law, students gain knowledge of the legal system and prepare for further education in law programs. • Two courses from the Methods of Research/Internship/Career Preparation Seminar/Advanced Composition group (6 credit hours)
• Three courses from the Business Law/Criminal Law/Sport and the Law/Mass Media Law/Civil Liberties group (9 credit hours)
