Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Laws

The Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Laws double degree provides students with the practical skills and knowledge required to excel in the fields of both accounting and law. The Bachelor of Accounting degree equips students to think creatively, apply innovative solutions to everyday problems, and develop trusting, long-lasting business relationships. The Bachelor of Laws degree equips students with professional legal skills and knowledge required by the Legal Profession Admission Board for admission to legal practice, to solve non-legal problems, and undertake specialized study in topical local and international law.

Admission Requirements

• Recommended studies: HSC English (Advanced)
• Assumed Knowledge: HSC 2 unit Mathematics
• Eligibility for admission is based on meeting the specified requirements.

Special Requirements

• Students enrolling in certain subjects may need a National Police Certificate and consent or prohibited employment declaration.
• Specific subjects require a visa for the relevant country and the ability to travel at specified times.

Advanced Standing

Entry Requirements for Domestic Students

Applicants who have undertaken studies overseas may need to provide proof of proficiency in English. Local applicants applying through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) will find details of minimum English proficiency requirements and acceptable proof on the UAC website.

Entry Requirements for International Students

• The Part-time option is not available to International Students on a Student Visa.
• Applicants who have undertaken studies overseas may need to provide proof of proficiency in English.
• International students currently completing an Australian Year 12 in or outside Australia, an International Baccalaureate in Australia, or a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) level 3 must apply via UAC International.
