Program Details

The Bachelor of Communication component develops an understanding of the local and international relevance of chosen studies, with opportunities to develop and produce a range of media outcomes. The Bachelor of Laws provides a broad, progressive legal education with a strong practical orientation, developing skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, research, communication, collaboration, self-management, and ethical and professional awareness and judgment.

Majors

• Advertising: Offers a balance of advertising theory and practice, focusing on real, project-based outcomes.
• Journalism: Combines understanding of how news media work with practical experience in broadcast, print, and online journalism.
• Media Arts Production: Provides production skills with practical hands-on experience and a theoretical foundation in moving, visual media.

Admission Requirements

• Assumed knowledge: Any 2 units of HSC English
• Recommended studies: HSC English standard or equivalent

Special Requirements and Prerequisites

Students enrolling in certain subjects may need a National Police Certificate and consent or prohibited employment declarations, especially when working with minors. Some subjects require a visa for the relevant country and the ability to travel at specified times.
