Advance Human Health
The Bachelor of Paramedicine has a strong evidence-based focus and uses innovative blended learning and assessment strategies, together with clinical placements, to develop high-level, practical, and clinical decision-making skills. Students learn in an innovative teaching facility, including simulation rooms, debrief rooms, and an immersive simulation lab with a control room. In the second and third year, students are given three months of supervised clinical experience with an emergency ambulance service in rural or metropolitan NSW or the ACT. There is also an opportunity to take up an international clinical placement or short placements in the private paramedicine industry, mental health services, and community and primary healthcare.
