Program Overview

The Equine Riding and Training program offers an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) and a Certificate of Specialization (S.C.) with an emphasis on riding. The program provides practical and theoretical training in horse production, care, and riding, preparing students for careers as stable managers, riding instructors, and professional trainers. Core courses include riding, horse production, applied horse and stall care, equine evaluation, and fundamentals of teaching riding.
