Program Overview

The Developmental Adapted Physical Education Graduate Certificate program prepares physical education teachers to meet Minnesota licensure standards for teaching students with disabilities in grades PK-12. Delivered online, the program emphasizes the application of theory to practice through coursework in assessment, teaching strategies, and consulting techniques. Graduates are equipped to support students with a range of disabilities, including cognitive, emotional/behavioral, and physical impairments.
