Program Overview

The Pre-Athletic Training emphasis in Applied Health Science prepares students for graduate studies in Athletic Training. Athletic Trainers provide injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to athletes and teams. They also educate athletes and coaches on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
