Program Overview

The Theory and Practice in Special Education certificate program prepares individuals for an initial license in special education or to add a special education license to an existing general education license. The 15-credit program consists of coursework in special education theory and practice, and students work with an advisor to meet the licensure requirements for the State of MN.
