Program Overview:

The MS Territorial Development Strategy trains specialists in local development, at the service of companies and territories. It combines theoretical knowledge and concrete case studies in order to sharpen the spirit of analysis and to provide the necessary hindsight to develop territories in a strategic approach of multi-level actors.


Objectives:

  • Understand the challenges and issues of territorial development
  • Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to design and implement territorial development strategies
  • Acquire a strategic vision and a capacity for transversal analysis
  • Develop a solid understanding of the institutional and legal framework of territorial development
  • Master the tools and methods of territorial diagnosis and planning
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills

The program is organized into four main modules:

  • Territorial Analysis: This module provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for territorial analysis, including an understanding of the different dimensions of territory, the methods and techniques of territorial diagnosis, and the challenges and opportunities for territorial development.
  • Development Policies and Strategies: This module covers the different policies and strategies that can be used to promote territorial development, including economic development, social development, environmental development, and cultural development.
  • Transitions: Governance and Territories: This module examines the changing nature of governance and its impact on territorial development.
  • It also explores the role of territorial actors, including local governments, businesses, and civil society organizations, in shaping territorial development.
  • Transitions: Companies and Territories: This module focuses on the relationship between companies and territories.
  • It examines the role of companies in territorial development and the impact of territorial development on companies.

Tuition Fees for 2024-2025 MS Territorial Development Strategy : €14,500 Tuition fees include the membership fee for EM Normandie Alumni Association, which gives you access to all services and a life membership. €50 charged to candidates in order to study their profile The contribution to CVEC (Contribution Vie Etudiante et de Campus), amounting to €100, by connecting to the dedicated plaftorm. Fees for students enrolling for the first time in 2024.
