Any student formally admitted to the University may pursue the Textiles, Merchandising, and Design (TXMD) curriculum. Applicants are guaranteed admission to the Apparel Design Concentration of the Textiles, Merchandising, and Design Program provided they have a minimum ACT score of 23 (or SAT equivalent); have a cumulative undergraduate college GPA of 3.0; and have completed each of the following courses with a grade of C (2.00) or better: General Education ENGL 1010Loading..., ENGL 1020Loading... - 6 credit hours General Education Natural Sciences - 8 credit hours General Education Math - 3 credit hours TXMD 1110Loading..., TXMD 1170Loading... - 6 credit hours HSC 1010Loading... Note: Students with less than a 2.50 cumulative GPA are not eligible for admission to the sequence of professional courses.
