Program Overview
This program prepares students to become X-ray technologists, who operate X-ray equipment to generate diagnostic images of the human body. Graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam to become Registered Radiologic Technologists (RT(R) ARRT), qualifying them for employment in hospitals, medical imaging centers, and clinics.

- They perform radiologic examinations independently as well as assisting radiologists or other physicians to meet their imaging needs.
- They work in hospitals, medical imaging centers, and clinics.
- When students complete the program, they are eligible to take the national certification examination through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- When students successfully pass this examination, they become certified as Registered Radiologic Technologists, RT(R) ARRT.
