Program Overview

Texas State University's Alternative Teacher Certification Program offers two pathways for individuals with a bachelor's degree to obtain initial teacher certification. The Accelerated pathway features self-paced modules, online courses, and internship options, while the Non-Accelerated pathway includes coursework from various departments and student teaching options.
