Program Overview

The Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work program at Swinburne University empowers individuals with lived experience to contribute to the mental health sector. Through a combination of online and on-campus instruction, students develop skills in communication, coaching, and listening, preparing them for roles as peer practitioners, mental health peer support workers, and other related positions. The program includes a work placement and utilizes actor simulations for practical workplace scenarios.
