Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Vision Science (BSVS) program at The Ohio State University is a seven-year accelerated program that combines a Bachelor's degree with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Students complete General Education Requirements in the first three years, then transition to the College of Optometry, where courses in the first year of the OD program count towards the BSVS degree. Upon completion of the remaining three years of the OD program, students earn both a BSVS and a Doctor of Optometry degree.
