Program Overview


Introduction to the Chemical Physics Doctor of Philosophy Program

The Chemical Physics Program at The Ohio State University is one of the country's largest, most comprehensive, and exciting. Our faculty members are doing innovative work on all of the atomic and molecular properties of matter, our facilities are modern and extensive, and our research environment is challenging.

Funding and Support

All students admitted to the Chemical Physics program are offered full tuition support and a generous stipend, either as a Graduate Teaching Associate (GTA) or through a fellowship offer.


Optional Practical Training (OPT)

International graduates of this major are eligible to apply for up to three years of work permission in the United States after graduation.
