Program Overview

The PhD in Environment and Natural Resources program prepares individuals for independent research and careers in academia or high-level research. Students can customize their coursework to their research interests, choosing from seven specialization areas. The program culminates in a dissertation and provides opportunities for interdisciplinary coursework and collaboration with faculty specializing in various environmental and natural resource fields. Graduates are eligible for three years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the United States after graduation.
