The B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance is a comprehensive degree program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the risk management and insurance industry. This program is one of only 34 Global Centers of Insurance Excellence recognized across 11 countries, and it is among the oldest and largest in the US.

The program includes stellar faculty members, prominent guest speakers, and funding for student travel to conferences. Graduates of this program become risk analysts, commercial and personal insurance agents, brokers, underwriters, and account managers. The vast majority of graduates accept positions in the risk and insurance industry upon graduation.

The program establishes and maintains contact with the insurance industry through biannual career fairs and a resume book. Over 35 companies participate in the fairs each year.
RMI Students Benefit from Summer Internships
The majority of RMI students complete paid internships, gaining valuable experience and earning up to 6 hours of credit. Students also interview their supervisor and colleagues to learn what they should stop doing, keep doing, or start doing, and turn in a report that includes a detailed analysis of their employer's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

The CPCU designation is awarded by The Institutes and is widely recognized and respected throughout the insurance industry.
Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
The CIC designation has been awarded by the National Alliance for Insurance Education since 1969 and is primarily for agency and company personnel.
Certified Risk Manager (CRM)
