Program Overview

The Master of Forensic Mental Health is an online program that combines mental health, law, and criminal justice to provide specialized knowledge in forensic mental health subspecialties. Graduates are equipped to work in various forensic mental health settings, including departments of corrections, police forces, and private practice. The program consists of core courses in law and mental health, psychiatry and criminal law, violence, and forensic mental health systems, as well as elective options in areas such as mental disorders and crime, substance use problems and offending, and civil law in relation to psychiatry.
