Program Overview

This specialization in Latinx Mental Health provides graduate students with the skills and knowledge to deliver culturally-relevant mental health services to Latinx and Spanish-speaking populations. It enhances linguistic and multicultural competencies, increases cultural understanding, and critically examines the social and historical contexts shaping Latinx experiences in the US. The program requires 16 credits of coursework, including topics such as professional ethics, counseling diverse populations, and psychological services for Latinos.
