Admissions Requirements

Admittance to the program is by audition only. In addition to the course requirements, the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music requires:

• Every student enrolled in applied lessons must participate in a major ensemble sponsored by the department
• All majors must participate in the weekly student recital performance classes and perform as recommended by their applied professor
• All majors must attend a designated number of concerts and/or recitals each semester in residence

Auditions & Scholarships

All students wishing to major, minor, dual enroll, or take applied music lessons at the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music must complete an audition. Scholarship opportunities are available for students admitted into the school's music programs.
