Admissions Path 1
Under this admissions pathway, an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, cyber or software engineering or similar program approved by the MSCE Program Director is required.
- Admission on this path means the student starts in the 8-week bi-term program with one or two courses per bi-term.
- To gain admittance on this path entails an earned degree named above or another degree with the following course profile.

This path allows for students without an engineering background, but who have IT degrees (either undergraduate or graduate) to be successful in the program. Students take 16-week courses for their first two main-term semesters to build a foundation for advanced coursework in Cyber Engineering. The 16-week format allows the program to implement additional learning modules and remediation to provide students a minimal level of the background knowledge and skills needed for this program.
