Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Elementary Education prepares candidates to teach students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. The program combines methods and content courses with hands-on activities and field experiences, equipping candidates with the knowledge and skills to effectively teach in both general education and inclusive settings. Graduates are eligible for Georgia Professional Standards Commission Induction Level – T-4 certification and a Reading Endorsement, qualifying them for careers as general education teachers, teaching assistants, and youth program directors.
