Program Overview
The Master of Library and Information Science program comprises 39 semester hours of coursework, including core courses in library science fundamentals, information sources, management, organization, research, and a capstone course. Students can choose from five collection development courses and 18 hours of electives to specialize in areas such as cataloging, library management, reference services, technology, youth services, or special libraries.
