Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Secondary Education prepares teacher candidates to teach and support students in grades 6-12. The program emphasizes the importance of planning, instructing, and assessing, and their impact on the 21st-century learner. Students gain practical experience through structured field experiences and a full semester of student teaching. Upon successful completion, graduates earn a Georgia Professional Standards Commission Induction Level – T-4 certification.
