Program Overview

The Night Rating program empowers certified pilots to fly at night under visual flight rules. Through practical assessments and demonstrations, pilots gain the skills and knowledge to safely operate Canadian-registered airplanes as pilot-in-command during nighttime conditions. Upon completion, graduates are qualified to fly at night under VFR, expanding their flying capabilities.
