Program Overview

This program prepares students for careers as medical technologists, who work in hospitals and labs to examine tissue, blood, and urine samples. Graduates typically attend post-baccalaureate training schools for one to two years to receive a medical technologist certificate. Entry-level laboratory technician positions are also possible with an undergraduate degree in a suitable laboratory science.
