• The Medical Transcription Editor program provides students with the skills necessary to work as medical transcriptionists and medical transcription editors.
• Students study medical terminology, anatomy, healthcare documentation, and editing theory and technique.

Teaching:

• The course is Internet-based with all content online.
• Students can register for and start the program at any time.
• Students will have 12 months from registration to complete the program.
• A high speed or broadband Internet Service Provider (ISP) and active email account are required.
• A personal computer (PC) is required with a Microsoft Windows or Mac OS X operating system.
• Adobe Flash Player (ver.
10 or higher) and Windows Media Player (ver. 10 or higher) or Quicktime Player (ver. 7 or higher) are required.
• A headset is strongly recommended.
