The International Online Master in Artificial Intelligence is divided into three modules:
Module 1: Understand the Strategic Impact and Value of AI in Business:
This module covers managerial economics (entrepreneurship, business planning), management accounting for decision-making (cost management, budgeting, investment appraisal), business strategy (long-term direction, strategic business units), financial statement analysis (understanding financial statements for decision-making), project & operations management (project management, data analysis, problem-solving), marketing (traditional and digital marketing principles), human resource management (workforce acquisition, development, retention), and data analytics for managers (analyzing and interpreting data for business decisions).
Module 2: Develop practical applications of AI as virtual assistants and chatbots:
This module includes: The Business value of Artificial Intelligence (Introduction to AI in Business, AI Strategy and Business Alignment, ROI and Business Impact, AI Adoption and Change Management); AI in Practice and use cases (Healthcare, data engineering, AI in industry, R&D); AI and ML algorithms for business (Machine Learning Algorithms, Predictive Analytics and Forecasting, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Reinforcement Learning and Decision Making, Computer Vision); and AI platform and vendors (AI Infrastructure and Cloud Computing, AI Development Frameworks and Tool, AI Platform Selection and Evaluation, Data Management and AI, AI Integration with Existing Systems).
Module 3: Lead AI Projects to Manage new Business Models:
This module explores AI and exponential technologies to transform businesses (AI and Internet of Things (IoT), AI and Robotics Process Automation (RPA), AI and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), AI and Edge Computing) and the Social Responsibility of AI (Building ethical and responsible organizations, Bias and Fairness in AI, Explainability and Transparency in AI, Privacy and Security in AI). In addition to these core modules, the program includes electives categorized into two macro areas: Next Gen Business (Innovation, AI, and Digital Growth) and Global Business Excellence. A Business Practice Lab in partnership with Microsoft is also included, where students work on real business challenges. A Capstone Project allows students to tackle a real company challenge, such as creating a marketing plan, developing a strategy to increase online sales, or creating a loyalty program.
