  • Communicate by using rehearsed and learned phrases and expressions with confidence in different contexts such as casual conversations on familiar topics
  • Go into detail when talking about facts and ideas
  • Absorb the gist and the main message by identifying key details and words when having verbal, auditory, and written communication.
  • These messages are conveyed through radio broadcasts, and face-to-face conversations
  • When faced with an authentic text, the learner will be able to follow the main ideas, highlight keywords, and reflect on critical details – whether it is a factual or fictional text
  • Write short essays or letters (around 250 words)
  • Differentiate between English accents of different speakers when they speak a little bit slower and clearly than usual
  • Make use of and understand a good range of commonly used vocabulary, common phrases, and idioms

Level 4/ B2 Upper Intermediate

  • Develop a fluent and accurate level and knowledge of spoken and written English

  • By the end of the course, students should be able to:
  • Understand, interpret, criticize, summarize, and recognize the implicit meaning of any demanding, long texts which are demanding in terms of vocabulary and grammar, phrases, and syntax
  • Express themselves fluently and spontaneously during planned or unplanned writings or conversations without needing very long pauses to search for vocabulary, expressions, phrases, or the structure of syntax
  • Have a vast range of options at their disposition to select the right phrases, expressions, syntax structure, and grammar forms in conversations and meetings in social, academic, and professional contexts
