Program Overview

The Associate of Science in Health Information Management program prepares students for careers in health information management and technology. The CAHIIM-accredited program covers federal and industry-standard guidelines, healthcare reimbursement, coding, IT, and data management. Students complete required courses in health information management, anatomy and physiology, and general education, as well as a professional practice internship. Graduates are qualified for roles such as Health Information Technician, Medical Coder, and Data Analyst.
