Program Overview

The RN to MSN in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program is a 28-month online graduate program that prepares students for a career as an AGACNP. The program includes both online coursework and clinical rotations, and graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam for AGACNPs. The program's objectives include preparing students to provide comprehensive care to adult and older adult patients with acute and chronic conditions in acute care settings, developing students' critical thinking and decision-making skills, instilling in students a commitment to providing quality, evidence-based care, and preparing students to be leaders in the field of nursing.
