The Mathematics, Bachelor of Science (BS) - Concentration in Secondary Education program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in mathematics and prepare them for a career in secondary education.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students graduating with a degree in Mathematics will:
- Use mathematics knowledge to solve theoretical and applied problems.
- Apply rigorous deductive reasoning to prove mathematics results.
- Use technology to perform and interpret mathematics analyses.
- Communicate mathematics knowledge to both expert and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate professional integrity and accountability in the use and communication of mathematics.
